Our Leaders

Two different takes on the people who purport to be our nation’s leaders, first a global view from VDH:

As the nation sinks inexplicably into self-created crisis after crisis, debate rages whether Joe Biden is incompetent, mean-spirited, or an ideologue who feels the country’s mess is his success.

A second national discussion revolves around who actually is overseeing the current national catastrophe, given Joe Biden’s frequent bewilderment and cognitive challenges.

But one area of agreement is the sheer craziness of Biden’s cabinet appointments, who have translated his incoherent ideology into catastrophic governance.

The common denominator to these Biden appointees is ideological rigidity, nonchalance, and sheer incompetence.

They seem indifferent to the current border, inflation, energy, and crime disasters. When confronted, they are unable to answer simple questions from Congress, or they mock anyone asking for answers on behalf of the strapped American people.

We don’t know why or how such an unimpressive cadre ended up running the government, only that they are here and the American people are suffering from their presence.

And then a local perspective from Kurt:

The clusterfark in Uvalde is just a symptom of a much bigger pathology. It is a symbol of the failure of every institution in our society. And the solution is never to revamp the institutions and eject the parasites heading them. It’s always – always – to take power from us and give it to the people who screwed up in the first place.

November 2022 can’t come quickly enough (and we need November 2024 to come even more quickly) so we can get rid of these lying, incompetent and corrupt assholes at federal, state and local level.

There are quicker ways, mind you, but I’m not going to go there.

  1. Say a prayer for VDH as I heard he is having a rough time battling the China virus.

  2. All of our current self-made maladies (Inflation, shortages (ammo one hurts), imposed restrictions, food factory fires, and on, and on….) further keep raising the temp on the soup pot. Its gonna boil, and only God knows what will happen then.

Now, with this Sussman verdict in DC, it shows how deep the rot is, how vile the Deep State has its tentacles, and the justice system has a parallel that we proles will never see.

The 56 reasons why we took up the fight against George III are getting pretty glaring…

  3. “Joe Biden is incompetent, mean-spirited, or an ideologue who feels the country’s mess is his success.”

    All of the above.

  4. “November 2022 can’t come quickly enough”

Say that in the comments at Instapundit and watch how fast people show up to mock you for thinking there will ever be another honest election.

    1. It’s a legitimate concern IMO. The way things are going, there *should* be a Red Tidal Wave that would make Reagan’s victory look like a squeaker. But after the blatant theft of 2020, I’m not going to hold my breath.

      1. Couldn’t agree more. I’m deeply worried that unless we change election rules to require voter picture ID, vote only on election day unless there is very well verified reason not to be able to be there at the polling place, and get rid of all Dominion or any other programmable voting machine, we are so screwed for all time.

The really scary thing is that all the unelected cancer cells that are droning along on the way to 100% pensions will still be there, nearly immune from firing, fiercely protecting and expanding their Federal gravy train.

    2. That’s because it’s a sentiment worthy of mockery. Kim himself even admits it two posts up. If you believe the election will be honest, you are retarded.

  5. So you still think we’ll have an election in November? Really? With the left so close to their goal since 1968 of overthrowing America and the polls so bad for them? You think they’ll let an election steal their last best chance to destroy America before heading off this mortal coil? That they won’t find some needed martial law to stop it? Sure – it’d be unconstitutional, but so were all the court-ordered or EO voting changes in 2020. I lack your confidence, I guess….

  6. The question asked most often is, “Are you willing to die to preserve your rights and freedom?”

The real question should be, “Are you willing to die trying to deny Americans their rights and freedom?”

    1. “I’d rather die on my feet, than live on my knees.”
      – Emiliano Zapata

  7. Kim isnt the only one around here who can rant, watch this,

I just love it how “Conservatives” still keep talking about elections and how they will take back America with the Republican party and how they will change everything back to the way is was before. They are SOOOO far into “Normalcy Bias” they just wont get the simple truth. The Republican party is part of the same elistist group that’s causing all this chaos. So you vote for a Republican so you can choose who stabs you in the back? I don’t get that at all.

IF the Repubs get the House or Senate or both, they will say the same things they said under Obama. Doesn’t anyone remember: give us the house first and we will fix things, then give us the senate and we will fix things, then give us the President and we will fix things! We did and they DIDNT!!!!!!!!! They never seem to have enough control/power to change a DAM thing. Because they really don’t want to change anything. Remember the 50 show votes to cancel Obamacare?
Its over, its been over for more than 20 years at least. Accept that for the love of God.. Nothing will change until you do the only thing that removes communism from control, and it F**KING ain’t voting them out.

  9. Not to make light of the discussion, but did anyone else notice the worried looking hobbit behind the tree in the tar and feathers picture?
    😉

  10. Voting got us here, more voting will make it worse.
Gov’t is a reflection of a MAJORITY of the voters.
Voting isn’t the solution, but the cause.

    1. “debate rages whether Joe Biden is incompetent, mean-spirited, or an ideologue who feels the country’s mess is his success.”

“And,” not or. he key word here is “and.”

And remember: if voting really made a difference, they wouldn’t let you do it.

      1. Didn’t Mao say something about political power comes from the barrel of a gun?
(Gotta find that copy of The Little Red Book…..or did I burn it back in the 70’s?)
