Eerie Silence

Has anyone noticed that this summer — traditionally the season of Antifa etc. riots — has been rather quiet in the streets?  I mean, we had the token anti-ICE silliness in Minnesota and a couple other places earlier in the year, but after the necessary roughness, the desire for such activity seems to have dissipated somewhat.  Also, it was kinda cold for outdoor bedwetting.

Since then, though, not much activity among the common gripes of the Perpetually Aggrieved Set — climate, racism, capitalism and all the rest — and I have two theories for reasons why this is the case.

Firstly, there are elections coming up, and maybe — just maybe — the stringpullers and astroturf layers have got the word out for their crowd of Useful Idiots to hold off for a while.  (I know, that’s maybe a little far-fetched, because the Aggrieved are always on a hair-trigger, and I’m not sure how any kind of chiding would work on them.)

Which means that my second theory is probably the correct one:  there’s no money for rent-a-crowd transportation, no money for those pre-printed signs with their dreary slogans, no money for vans to deliver bricks, Molotov cocktails and other necessities for a decent Lefty riot, and no money to incentivize the lamestream media to fan the flames.

Of course, there’s the fact that the Soros crowd and fellow criminal organizations (e.g. ActBlue, CAIR and the SPLC) are being investigated by the Treasury Department for their funding of illegal activities, so they’re hiding out (for a while, one suspects).  As Scott Bessent has stated:

“When you see these protesters, someone is financing them,” Bessent explained. “There are safe houses. When you see the 300 people with the same laser that they’re using to blind DHS agents in courthouses in Portland, someone bought those lasers.  So these groups that are engaging in this — we have the authority, and we are examining them.”

Then:

“What we do is follow the money — just like we followed it with the mafia. We’ll find out who’s done this.”

Yeah… perhaps using non-profit orgs to channel the money into these activities was only going to work with the Three Blind Mice of the Biden era.  So this would be the time to shut them down, permanently, with perp walks and orange jumpsuits much in evidence.

The treason- and criminal trials and public hangings can follow soon after.

Vox Populi

I see that the Micks have the temerity to be angry about yet the latest crime committed by an “immigrant” — one of the many thousands dumped in Northern Oirland by the various British governments of recent times.

Of course, being Irish, they are expressing their displeasure in the traditional manner:

Violent scenes were witnessed in Northern Ireland again on Wednesday as tensions remain high in the wake of an apparent attempted beheading on the streets of Belfast, allegedly at the hands of a Sudanese asylum seeker.

Hordes of black balaclava masked men clashed with riot officers of the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) on Wednesday in areas such as the Belfast suburb of Newtownabbey, where a lorry truck was set on fire by agitators. The truck is believed to have been a municipal “gully emptier” used to clean street drainage systems.

A car was also set on fire on Antrim Road in the area, while fires were also lit at the Sandyknowes roundabout, the Belfast Telegraph reported.

Nearby, police were forced to deploy a water cannon to push back a large crowd attempting to break into a Newtownabbey hotel, likely over at least rumours of migrants being housed inside.

Next will be the bombs, I’m guessing.  I’m pretty sure that the IRA Provos still have a few hidden somewhere since The Troubles subsided.

Needless to say, the BritGov is responding in its traditional way, by labeling the protesters as “extreme Rightwing”, suppressing all online mention of the protests as well as going with the water cannons (in stark contrast to their treatment of the BLM-inspired riots a couple years back).

The response from the British government has seemingly attempted to shift the blame for the violence to those commenting on social media, rather than the horrific stabbing attack, footage of which was widely seen and reports indicating that the UK government had granted the suspect asylum after entering into the country illegally.

UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer vowed to “crack down on anyone who is fuelling this division,” adding that “there is no justification for the violence and disorder that we saw threatening our communities, nor for those who encouraged it, online or elsewhere.”

Tell that to the Beheaders, old cock, and maybe then we can believe you.

When all the smoke has cleared, I’ll just be curious to see what’s left.  Of everything.  Over There.  In the meantime…

The Actual Totalitarians

Victor Davis Hanson points out (in not quite so many words) that in politics, there’s nothing new under the sun — most especially since the French Revolution, that is — and that the “Democrat Party” of today should just be honest about it and rename themselves the Jacobin Party.

Why?

Jacobinism aims to divide the nation arbitrarily between the noble oppressed and the toxic oppressors.  (Sound familiar?)

And VDH then goes on to list the offenders and offences:

BLM (actually, it’s Antifa, the only omission he makes), biological men competing in women’s sports, critical legal theory normalizing cashless bail, race-based reparations, violent felons arrested and back on the street hours later, radical abortion on demand until birth, attacks on the concept of the cultural “melting pot” and opposition to organized Christianity.

Read the whole article for the full catalogue.

Here’s the question to ponder.  Never mind what they might say;  which is the political party in the U.S. that actively supports terrorism?  And let’s be clear by what we mean by “terrorism”:  threatening assassination, supporting assassinations or calling for the same, beating up political opponents, calling for violence against those who refuse to support their policies (e.g. Supreme Court justices), using “grassroots” street protests to cow and intimidate opposition… the list goes on and on.

Yup:  that list belongs to the modern-day Jacobins — just as it was back in the late eighteenth century.  They would make history repeat itself, if they could.  And never forget that the term “Reign of Terror” was also coined during the French Revolution, by the Jacobins.  Ipse dixit.

Escalation

One of the very first things my father taught me was an important one:  Never point your toy gun at a policeman.  As he explained further, you may know it’s a toy gun, but he doesn’t:  so there’s a good chance he might shoot you.  And it would be your fault.

Continuing the chronicles of the Left playing out its little Insurrection Fantasy, we see this latest example:

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) riots by Antifa and other activists since June 2025 may have now claimed what could have been the first killing tied to this anti-ICE operation in Portland, following a Friday-night drive-by shooting.

Here’s the relevant bit:

Instead of using an actual gun, however, the angry shooter, a woman, used a reported non-lethal BB-type gun and shot at least one right-wing livestreamer in the face and arm multiple times. Others may have been hit as well.

As someone pointed out:

Had it been real, they’d be dead or wounded.

And had someone returned fire and killed this drunken bitch, no doubt the wails would have been deafening:  It was just a little toyyyyyy!

Yup, and she would have been killed by just a little bullet.

Keep sowing the wind, Leftie scum.  The Revolution wants and needs martyrs, and it won’t take long before that wish is granted.  Just remember:  you started it.

What he said.

Incitement

Well now, isn’t that special?

During a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday, Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) went on a tirade, during which he appeared to say that citizens would be justified in shooting ICE agents.

“But what is really the major problem in this country today is the fascism in our streets, the attacks on American citizens by masked hoodlums,” Nadler began. “If you were attacked by a masked person, you might think you were being kidnapped. You’d be justified in shooting the person to protect yourself.”

It has long been established that ICE agents wear masks because they are under threat of the radical left identifying and doxxing them. On top of that, even masked ICE agents are clearly identifiable as federal agents every single time. There is no need to suggest that it would be justified to shoot ICE agents.

“But we see people being shot, for what? For driving a car?” Nadler added.

Here we go.  Throw in a few blatant untruths or careful elisions — that would be “attacked by a masked person [wearing a clearly-identifiable law enforcement uniform]” and “being shot for driving a car [at people wearing clearly-identifiable law enforcement uniforms]” — and guess what?  According to this Nadler asshole, “You’d be justified at shooting the person to protect yourself.”

Yes.  Let’s see how that plays out in a courtroom, shall we?

But what the hell, if that fat fuck Nadler can say what he said, then I’ll say this:

I hope that in these specious cases of self-defense, the perpetrators never make it as far as the courtroom, but end up lying in a pool of their own blood right there in the streets, shot dead by law enforcement.

Enough, as they say, is enough.  The Left seems eager for a crowd of martyrs to further their little anti-ICE / anti-Trump PR campaign;  maybe it’s time we gave them what they want, in spades.

Just Sayin’

….that if you’re part of a highly-organized group of urban terrorists who are hell bent on disrupting a lawful police action, and you show up for your little disruption play carrying a loaded gun and spare ammo, you need to be aware of the possible consequences.

And for all the other assholes who want to get involved in this little cosplay, just realize that your organizers are looking for martyrs for their sick cause, and you’re the bit players.

Have fun storming the castle.
