Just thought I’d point out that today is New Wife’s second (!) wedding anniversary with Yours Truly. All commentary about the burden she has to bear and her saintlike patience will be passed on. (She doesn’t visit this place more than once or so a week, because she’s not interested in guns or politics.)

My wife (who is also my college sweetheart) and I celebrated 15 a couple of months ago.
Would have been 36 had I not married a gal I met in a bar because she drank like I did (as if that were some kind of good thing).
I never bred her (in fact, I had her spayed like a dog, but that’s another matter entirely) and then, after 21 years of being in a loveless relationship, I cut her loose.
But I digress.
