Tole Ya So

Talking about New York City’s Commissar De Blasio’s decision to close down the NYPD’s anti-crime units, I ended with this:

With the disbanding of the anti-crime unit, it’s gonna get worse — much worse.

And lo, just a couple-three days later, we find this:

Reports indicate that shootings in New York City surged last week following the NYPD’s decision to disband its plainclothes anti-crime unit. The New York Post reports the unit was disbanded on Monday, June 15, 2020, and the week ended with “28 [shooting] incidents and 38 victims.”
During the same week in 2019 there were only 12 shootings.
A law enforcement source told the Post, “This is what the politicians wanted — no bail, nobody in Rikers, cops not arresting anyone.”
The source added, “All those things equal people walking around on the street with guns, shooting each other.”

Of course, the Left is going to say that this is because of Trump, or White supremacists or some such bullshit, but I don’t listen to them anymore.

Update:  And right on cue… TA-DA!!!!

Pussification Chronicles Part 1

Here we go.  As part of the free service you all get from this blog, here’s a new department.  At various intervals as they occur, I’m going to display examples of Extreme Pussification — whether applied to a person, a country or an institution or a combination of all three doesn’t matter.

Herewith a couple of examples:

We all know that since hooking up with Duchess Caringslut, the Royal Ginger has continued to abase himself — giving up hunting, drinking, eating meat, and many more of those fine activities which help us to differentiate real men from girlymen.  Here’s his latest PC blowjob:

Prince Harry has backed the moves to ban Swing Low, Sweet Chariot from rugby games due to its association with slavery.
He has sung the rugby anthem many times since childhood and he is a fan and patron of the Rugby Football Union (RFU).

Not for much longer, I’ll bet;  unless the RFU also loses their balls and keeps him on.  But here’s the good part.

The song was written by a freed Oklahoma slave named Wallace Willis.

So here we have a song commemorating freedom from slavery, but its very association thereby taints it?  A whole bunch of stupid is contained in this bullshit, and Harry is a spineless, testicle-free fuckwit.

Here’s another example, this time of institutional pussification:

The curator of [the Houses of] Parliament’s art collection said the presentation of their artworks is being ‘reevaluated’, as many statues and paintings have a ‘racist history’ and were bought with wealth from the slave trade.
The Palace of Westminster lobbies, which are open to the public, are lined with artwork featuring 18th and 19th Century politicians, many of whom were connected to the slave trade.
Melissa Hamnett, the head of heritage collections and curator of works of art, said officials are looking at the presentation of the collection in light of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Just wait till the Italian Government orders the Coliseum torn down because it was built completely by slave labor — and if you think I’m exaggerating…

Ultimately, of course, it is impossible to remove (or the modern word, “de-couple”) Western Civilization from slavery:  all the ancient societies used slavery to one extent or another in the construction of both their buildings and their societies.  Was that a bad thing?  Of course.  But is that an excuse to do all the vile nonsense — pulling down statues, removing works of art, defacing memorials etc. — that we are being “asked” to do by the Bastards Of The Left and their helots in BLM?

That ought to be a rhetorical question, of course, but it’s best not to leave anything unspoken in this modern age of historical ignorance, so “NO!” has to be shouted out, and loudly.

More examples of pussification as they occur.  To echo Insty:  I may need a bigger blog.

Simple Explanation

Many tears have been shed (tears of laughter, but nemmind) over this report:

Pro-Black Lives Matter mayor calls attack on her house “domestic terrorism”
Olympia Mayor Cheryl Selby has been a loud supporter of Black Lives Matter, and the related protests following the death of George Floyd at the hands of the Minneapolis police department—but she has since changed her tune after her home was vandalized by protesters.
Selby referred to the vandalism as an act of “domestic terrorism” following a siege of her house.
Selby, who was among the first Democratic leaders to take a knee for the protest movement, says she had difficulty processing the violence after rioters struck her neighborhood on Friday.

Try not to burst out laughing or choke on your morning’s Bloody Mary when you read the whole sorry tale.

I can explain it simply for Herronner.

  1. Despite your possessing ladyparts, to the public at large (and especially to the BLM / Pantifas), you are The Man.  Da Mayor(ess).  The Head Cheese.  The Establishment.  Of course they’re going to target you, despite all your kowtowing [sic]   and prostration.
  2. You didn’t have any kind of property protection in the form of security guards or [shudder]  off-duty policemen to protect your property, despite the fact that you’re a high-profile target (see 1. above).  Whether this was because you hate the police / don’t think you should need them / think your house is protected by its dome of Magic Pixie Dust is all irrelevant.  Mobs prefer marshmallow houses to fortresses.
  3. All the public prostration actually made it more likely that you were going to be a target, and the fact that you are probably anti-gun personally made you even more vulnerable.  (Ask yourself this, Cheryl:  have you read any reports of similar acts of “domestic terrorism” being inflicted on, say, former TexGov Rick Perry’s house?  No?  Perhaps it’s because these “social justice warriors” know that Perry would use his eeeevil AR-15 assault rifle (that nobody needs) to turn their worthless bodies into colanders should they try.  Maybe you should take a leaf from his book.  Just sayin’.)
  4. The expression  “When it’s a matter of seconds, the police are only minutes away”  is not just a clever-dick mantra of Deplorable Gun Owners;  it’s a fact of life.  And should you go along with the other Commiesymp (i.e. Democrat) big-city mayors and decide to “defund” your Olympia P.D., those minutes will turn to hours, and  what happened to you is going to get worse.  And to your neighbors, not that you would care about those peasants.

You stupid bitch.  Enjoy reaping the whirlwind from the winds you so blithely sowed.

Quote Of The Day

“On Saturday and particularly Sunday, I heard people saying all over, ‘Hey, there’s no police anywhere, police ain’t doing nothing’. “

Which of course led to rioting, looting and all-round entertainment, the most violent day since the 1960s, except that this time, the welfare offices were surprisingly untouched.

Note that the above quote came from that idiot Southside priest who wants to ban all guns except those held by the police.  Don’t expect him to change his views, though.

I Don’t Think So, Scooter

Now we hear the following breathless announcement:

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) warned on Friday that another lockdown might be necessary if the country suffers a “dramatic” rise in coronavirus infections.

They’ll soon discover that what they think is a “dramatic” rise is not what we think it is.

I’ve got news for you “experts” and government types:  if you think that “civil disobedience” is an abstract concept or an impossibility in this country, try pulling that shit on us again.

And the harder you push us, the harder we’ll push back.  If you go full aggro on us (and you should never go full aggro), the result will make the current BLM / Pantifa riots look like a Sunday school picnic.

You heard it here first.

Quote Of The Day

Longtime Friend and Ex-Drummer Knob and I were swapping texts about the resumption of the Formula One season — we’re both keen fans thereof — and amidst all the talk about Vettel staying at Ferrari and what-have-you came this priceless line from Knob:

“If they all kneel at the first race, I switch off.”

This kind of echoes God-Emperor Trump’s attitude:

President Donald Trump criticized American sporting organizations for making steps to allow players to kneel in protest during the national anthem.
“I won’t be watching much anymore!” Trump wrote, sharing an article reporting the United States Soccer Federation repealed a rule banning players from kneeling during the national anthem.

But hey… if the various sports’ controlling bodies want to piss in their own soup, who are we to stop them?

I think they’ve forgotten that sport is actually a non-essential commodity  — i.e. you no likee, you switchee offee — and they’ll pay the penalties for their arrogance.
