I disagree with one of his statements, “When you are in a Knife fight you stab the other guy”. No, I prefer the Indiana Jones solution. When confronted with a guy waving around a giant Knife ( Sword ) just shoot the guy.
The current demonstration of what happens when we are not constrained by political “Rules of engagement” must be giving China second thoughts about invading Taiwanese held Islands.
Well, yes; but absent the presence of a gun, his statement is absolutely correct.
This is Brit-land after all. Nobody (and I think that increasingly includes the Brit Military) has guns.
