  1. At what level of involvement do we reach before Russia decides it is active aggression on our part? Is the Biden Crime Syndicate waiting for another Lusitania incident to send in troops?

    1. Don,
You’re on to something right there. When does Lend/Lease and outright sell become aiding and abetting? With equipment comes advisors and trainers. How many American servicemen and women are in harms way right now? How many are being injured or killed or will be? And you’re right, when will Putin move to put an end to that?

I certainly do not support Putin’s aggression with his annexation of the Crimea and other areas of Ukraine. Resistance to Putin has to be multi tiered. One is to disrupt the Russian economy as Apple Pay and other companies have done but stopping their services in Russia. Another would be to flood the market with cheaper petroleum products and steal Russia’s petroleum customers. Only then can you even think of military intervention.

  2. ” Moscow has claimed to have destroyed more than 40 ”

….. by catching them with 40 of their armored vehicles as the missiles landed.

  3. I agree with support for Ukraine BUT what we have at present looks suspiciously like a blank cheque and we all know how those work out (keyword: kaiser bill / Austria, 1914).

Reluctant as I am as a good limey to say anything good about Macron, I have to say his efforts to push for a negotiated peace deserve kudos.

At some point they will have to talk.

Ukraine will never push Russia out of the Eastern region or oblast or whatever the fuxk they’re called, and Russia will never get further west than they already did.

So to continue is to slaughter 1000s of guys, bring misery to hundreds of 1000s of people oh yes and enrich the stock holders of raytheon and the rest.

If the US is to retain any standing there needs to an immediate pivot toward pushing for a negotiated ceasefire and then a proper settlement. Un peacekeepers useless though they may be need to be put in place.

That is what would happen anywhere else. It is what the fucking UN is for FFS. Ukraine Russian lives are not worth less than anybody else’s whatever slow corrupt Joe fuxking Biden might think.

  4. I see no more reason to believe that the UN can bring this conflict to a mutually satisfactory conclusion than history shows the League of Nations doing likewise.
