I think I read on your previous website where Connie said Men build societies, women civilize them, and we can see the quality of the civilization process every day.
I may have to give that essay to my teen-aged nephew. His Mom’s as bad or worse than the woman shilling for Cheerios. The woman goes to eleven faster than anyone I’ve ever known. My brother walks with the grace and caution of a mine-detector squad, and my nephew thinks he’s a milquetoast (not his term) because he wants some peace and smooth-running in the family.
