And no, it’s not the half referred to by this silly Brit tart in The Grauniad, it’s the half of all White women who stupidly continue to vote for the Socialists. Here’s why I think this.
I’m always told that women have a built-in need for security (created by thousands of years of conditioning for being the — physically — weaker sex). This, we are assured, is why women continue to vote for Big Government parties such as proposed by the Socialists — that women’s social safety is guaranteed by Gummint — despite all the evidence collected over recent decades that the Big Government parties provide anything but security.
As an example, I wonder how many of the millions of women who have fled the Big-Government paradises of, say, Venezuela or Cuba would vote again for a socialist government (assuming, of course, that said government would allow them to vote against the Party).
And with such evidence clearly apparent to all, why then would any White women even consider letting the socialists (or the Socialist Party U.S.A.) become the ruling government party?
Well, the simple answer is that despite all the evidence of socialist failures, half of White women are stupid enough either to remain ignorant of, or to willfully ignore said evidence, and continue to support the party which promises that Big Brother Government will take care of all security issues.
Rush Limbaugh is of the opinion that such stupidity can only come from having attended college, which pushes the “all Marxism, all the time” agenda through the various “-Studies” courses. Using the Grauniad bint’s own words to illustrate the point, try this one on for size:

Anytime a writer uses a scientific word like “vector” and applies it to a social situation, there is a 99.99% chance that this application was learned at a university. (Donegan then goes on to worshipfully quote the late (and much-discredited) ultra-feminist harpy Andrea Dworkin, which of course should disqualify her entire thesis to any rational human being, male or female. But try this stretch:
What is wrong with white women? Why do half of them so consistently vote for Republicans, even as the Republican party morphs into a monstrously ugly organization that is increasingly indistinguishable from a hate group? The most likely answer seems to be that white women vote for Republicans for the same reason that white men do: because they are racist. Trump, with his raucous rallies and his bloviating, combative style, has offered his supporters an opportunity to savor the pleasures of being cruel. It is likely that the white women who voted for him in 2016, and who will vote for him again in 2020, find this racist sadism gratifying. It is fun for them.
If I were a rational White woman — i.e. one who doesn’t buy into any of the lies of socialism any more — I’d be steaming with rage about now at having this race-guilt bullshit applied to them.
Because that’s all Donegan’s piece is: a transparent attempt to shame White women to stay in the socialist mindset, or if not already there, to move into it.
What’s even more risible is Donegan’s characterization of the two American political parties, viz.:
There is a battle on for the soul of America, between the peevish, racist cruelty of Trump and his supporters and a vision of inclusion, justice, and decency forwarded by an increasingly diverse coalition on the left.
Let me be as succinct as I can, here.
The “increasingly diverse coalition on the left” is not inclusive (hence the demonization of White women as racist). Nor does this coalition favor justice (“believe the woman and ignore the evidence”). As for decency… fucking hell, let’s ask Brett Kavanaugh, Heidi Cruz, Elaine Chao, Nikki Haley and Kirstjen Nielsen how well the Left “forwards” that behavior.
As always with the Left, it’s all a pack of lies — all of it, without exception — and what truly gladdens me is that at least half of all White women have realized that, are not fooled, and refuse to have any truck with them.
Long may that attitude continue, and grow. For all our sakes.
I think there’s a few things at work regarding why so many women choose Socialism despite the evidence.
First, they rely on emotions instead of intellect. So when the guy promises he won’t beat her again, er, Socialist politician assures her it’ll work this time, she believes him. Because he PROMISED, unlike the last four times the same dirtbag promised the same thing, or all the times the last seven dirtbags promised the same thing.
Second is the college experience, which only works on people who have no actual experience in life.
Last is the identity politics rampant in our society. Like in the article you quoted, a woman is supposed to feel like a traitor to her sex if she votes in a manner consistent with her ideals and her personal best interests. So a Pro-Life woman like my wife is supposed to vote Democrat because they’re pro-abortion, because TPTB have defined pro-abortion as good for women. Or a white woman is supposed to vote in solidarity with her black sisters even if such a vote is contrary not only to her values, but to her own self interest.
I also note that the Socialists, despite their alleged concern for individuals, only think in terms of group identity, so a black business owner MUST have the same values and concerns as a black hood rat because of their common skin color, and the black business owner and the white business owner across the street MUCH have opposed values because they lack the same pigmentation. Only when you treat an individual AS an individual, toss out accidents of birth like sex or skin color, and judge people on ability and accomplishment can you have a truly free and prosperous society. Hell, if I bring my car in for repair I don’t care what reproductive plumbing the mechanic has, not what continent his/her ancestors came from, nor do I give a damn about who’s waiting for him/her after work with a cold beverage and few clothes. I care that I have a competent mechanic. Period.

Women who choose socialism almost always do so because they see it as a daddy/husband replacement (usually for themselves but also vicariously).
As for the hate towards white women, it is just the new version of what black republicans have been dealing with since forever.

Well, she IS dead, so no point in flogging a dead horse’s ass, so to speak.
We can’t discount the fact that many of these Leftist women are rebelling out of frustration. Men have invented virtually every single creature comfort that they enjoy, and all they really have to bargain with is sex and procreation, which even that they can not manage alone, and when they become sexually unattractive even that weapon is removed. So they fight using any tool they can come up with, and pure hatred is a powerful tool.

25% of white women are indeed stupid. (That is probably a charitable estimate – but let us forgive our blog host some charity and chivalry).
On top of that demographic you have another 25% that are on clinically prescribed psychotropics and anti-depressants. These would be the purple faced rage heads, cat ladies and harpies for whom Hillary Clinton is a role model.

I think it is as adequately explained for an increasing number of men and women by the simple fact that you can’t call half the country by every vile hate filled invective you can conjure and expect people to actually vote for you. Disagree with these clowns and you’re racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, hate-filled extremist, Nazi, or a member of the KKK. Disagree with their policies and provide a reasoned response for why their liberal politics have failed, are failing, and will continue to fail and that is just your “privilege” showing. They’ve spent the last 25 years insulting half the country and they wonder why people don’t vote for them (and we wonder why their rhetoric is increasingly violent…ignore a baby long enough and they just get louder and more insistent). Who in their right mind votes for someone who addresses you as a “bitter clinger” or “basket of deplorables” (and those are the kinder of the insults you hear from the left)?
I wouldn’t say that half of white women are stupid. Half of white women are fed up and the rhetoric of the left is driving them further and further to the right. Do these people really think half of white women want to cluck about like the cackling hens on The View? Do these people really think that ‘slut pride’ comedians like Amy Schumer and Sarah Silverman (who only seems to be able to make jokes about how nasty their vaginas are) actually speak for half of white women? Do these people really think that half of white women want to identify with a political party where every time the prominent women in that party open their mouths, stupidity is all that comes out (Nancy Pelosi, Alexandria Occasional-Whatever, and Debbie Wash-her-man’s Clothes please call your respective offices)?
My beloved bride, who couldn’t be more white if she were translucent, hates the way these women, all liberal women, talk about women like her. She can’t stand the smug, thinly veiled contempt they have for women like my bride. She can’t stand the complete corruption of Hillary Clinton and considers a woman who rides her husband’s coattails the opposite of a feminist. She hated every single time some feminist harpy asked her about working while she stayed home with our kids. She hated the snide remarks about “wasting your education” and stuff like that (strangely enough none of those women could manage their homes, but my bride is the one who is stupid). She took one look at who was leading the women’s march and flatly refused to even consider what they had to say. She is ardently pro-life and knows there is no room for her anywhere to the left of George W. Bush.
She doesn’t vote for Republicans because she is stupid. She votes Republican because she has weighed and measured what the left has to say, and what it has to say about women like her and finds no common cause with them. She doesn’t vote for them because no matter how much they want to think they represent her, they don’t even begin to understand her.
