Missed It By THISmuch

…that would be the end of the Schumer Schuttdown.  I predicted that it would end two days after last Tuesday’s elections (Thursday), and it actually ended yesterday (Sunday).

How nice.  Now the Gummint so-called “workers” head back to their offices (except when “working from home”, what a boondogggle) and go back to wasting taxpayer money while doing so little to justify their existence.

Forgive me for sounding blasé about the whole thing, but at least the Republican Party Reptiles managed to maintain their soft spines and refuse (for once) to capitulate to the Socialists.  I suppose that’s something to celebrate.

So now it’s back to normal, and on we go with the never-ending story.

Bah.

Now it’s time to end ObamaCare, lower income taxes, keep up with the deportations of illegal immigrants and keep reducing the size and impact of the government on our lives.  To mention just a few.

Later, we can discuss the hangings.

  1. Maybe, it’s only half way there. But it also kicks the can to September 2026 just in time to use this club again for the Mid Term Elections.

  2. I thought the vote on Obamacare was coming this year. Either way I hope it fails as designed and we get real reform without Obama’s smoke, mirrors, lies, half truths and propaganda

  3. Oh ye of little faith. Obamacare was, and is, working just as planned. It was always designed to do two things 1) shovel vast amounts of money out of the treasury to persons and particularly health insurance companies to make them dependent on government largess, and thus willing to supplicate appropriately to keep the dollars flowing in, and 2) ultimately fail, so that we can then move on to the intended end game: a national health system or nationalized health insurance system, pick your poison.

In short, Obamacare is failing. Just as planned. It was designed to fail from the start, and to take the insurance companies now dependent on the subsidies with it.
