Reasonable Suggestion

I was struck by the attitude of this woman (as linked by Insty), who feels that Trump supporters should be put in a large room, like a gas chamber.  (She doesn’t actually advocate dropping the Zyklon-B crystals, of course;  she just wants to see Trump supporters wail and grovel.)

Of course, she’s living in some benighted delusion, unencumbered by the reality of what she’s suggesting.  It’s actually laughable, for all the right reasons:

  • That’s a big-ass room she’s talking about.  Even something the size of, say, Madison Square Garden would only hold about 25,000 people — of approximately 60 million Trump supporters.  I suppose she’d want to round up Trump supporters on a piecemeal basis, which leads us to:
  • Who is the “we” she’s talking about?  Who, exactly, is going to do the rounding  up?  The police?  The Army?  Has she considered the possibility that Trump’s support among these agencies might make them reluctant to go to a Trump-supporting household and politely ask us to go on a little one-way journey?  Of course, that reluctance may also manifest itself in fear for their lives, because of the next point.
  • We Trump supporters, by and large, may constitute the single-largest group of armed civilians on the planet, and would probably decline the offer of a trip to MSG from some ill-defined  Totenkopf agents.
  • Clearly, some kind of universal disarmament program must first be enacted, which in itself would be somewhat interesting.

Really, what she wants to see is Trump supporters cower in fear.  I wonder if she’s ever considered that we, as a group, are not especially fearful people?

So here’s my simple suggestion.

Even for someone as deluded as this AWFL, some testing needs to be done first, to ascertain the feasibility of what she’s advocating — a sample study, if you will.  Let’s see how disarmament and deportation to Madison Square Garden works out for them.

I will quite happily sign on to be one of the sample group.  In other words:  start with me, bitch.

Of course, what her little tirade shows is the actual depth of hatred these people have for us conservatives.  Fine:  let them hate away all they want.  But she and all her little cohorts need to understand that hatred alone will not be sufficient to enact what she’s suggesting.

But reality was never a strong suit of leftism, anyway.

  1. I’d sentence her to a year out in the pepper fields where she’d have to pick 20 bushels a day in order to earn a meal.

After a year she can be reevaluated to determine if she is qualified to be in society.

    1. that would make a great t shirt.

I knew someone that had “Si hoc legere potes, nimis eruditus es.” or something to that effect written on it

    1. The problem is “what comes next”.

See, the left is organized. They have a specific goal–socialism, total control of the economy and some degree (depending on who is speaking at the moment) of social control . They have built networks, financial networks, control networks. They have organized militias–they can get a bunch of Antifa types rampaging through any city in the US on a few hours notice.

The right doesn’t have any of that, and *we can’t build it*. We can’t build it because the left ALSO owns the investigatory agencies, most of the media, and about half the republicans in office. So any attempt to create nation wide networks will be labelled “far right fascist” and “preparing for violence”. etc.

  2. I think eventually they’ll push it until it starts.

I cannot recommend Kurt Schlichter’s book, American Apocalypse highly enough. Very believable account of how this could play out. Available on Kindle if you read that was. May be free for Amazon Prime members.

  3. I think these idiots need to go over to Europe and visit the camps, so they can see and feel first-hand what they’re wishing for.

Why do I say “feel”? Because I read in a book once that you can physically feel the evil in those places. And so, being the curious sort, I decided to visit Mauthausen during my semester abroad in Austria.

Yes. You can ABSOLUTELY feel the evil that permeates the place. It’s like a stain on the very soul of the land that can never be scrubbed away. A weight on your soul that builds and builds and builds until you physically cannot stand up straight anymore.

So that idiot and her ilk should go spend a few hours exploring places like that and then re-think their position. Decide if that evil is worth having on their own souls for all eternity.

As for me…I ain’t gettin’ on no boxcar. They may kill me, but they’ll have to earn it.

    1. Forgot to mention, it’s coming up on 17 years since I visited the camp at Mauthausen, and I still have nightmares about the place. Not often (anymore) and not regularly (again, anymore) but they still happen every now and again. Probably will tonight since I’m remembering it today.

      1. Dachau for me, while I was stationed in West Germany, ’74-’77.

Earn it indeed. At the least, they’ll have to climb over two piles–the first a pile of bodies, the second a pile of hot brass.

        1. Hey, we were there at the same time. Me, Wildflecken Germany, Oct 74 – Nov 77. 54th Engr Bn.

I traveled all over Europe and not once did I stop at any of the holocaust places because I had no interest. That stuff had been shoved in my face throughout the public education indoctrination and that was more than enough.

          1. Me, 156 Maintenance Co., Pinder Barracks, Zirndorf, MOS 45B, Small Arms Repair. Pinder Barracks was built in the late 1930’s as a flak/searchlight Kaserne. My dad was a B-17 pilot with the 8th Army Air Force and flew 35 combat missions over Europe, a few over Nürnberg. Likey they were shooting at him from Pinder.

  4. What are these people going to do in November 2028, when DJT passes the torch to the next Republican President-elect, or in January 2029, when he takes Air Force One down to Miami for his last “official” trip to Mar a Lago? Who are they going to hate on then?

    1. They will simply transfer the hate and lies to the next guy without any regard to truth or logic. As we get closer to the 2028 election they will start tarring Vance, DeSantis and Rubio and any other folks who look like viable candidates.
