Was there ever a screen name that says “All-Murkin Gal” any better than “Julie Adams”? And the original Betty May Adams was from Iowa, even better.

I had the opportunity to meet her once.
There was a showing of Creature from the Black Lagoon at the Wildey theater in Edwardsville, IL. She was booked to make a personal appearance there.
I did not go. I am not particularly fond of that movie. Although now I may look it up anyway.
It would have been sometime between 2010 and 2014, so she was in her 80’s.
Something in my brain refuses to believe that is Julie Adams in the 2nd and 14th pictures. Something isn’t quite matching up for me… Maybe the nose, or around the mouth.
She was so good at playing the manhunting ingenue in Murder She Wrote.
Reminds me of a young Jennifer Connelly, especially the swimsuit pic with the Creature.
