Quote Of The Day

From Insty:

“In the past, there were periodic scandals about a journalist who was caught fabricating or massively distorting news: Janet Cooke, Stephen Glass, Jayson Blair, Dan Rather, Katie Couric, Brian Williams. But the past four years have exposed virtually the entire industry reporting on the Beltway as repeated — and quite shameless — fabulists.”

  1. Just the last four years? I believe the legacy media has been lying to us for decades. Look at how the news was slanted against Trump and slanted in favor for any given Democrat. Go further back. The press loved John McCain. He was their favorite REpublican until he dared to run against Barry Soteoro. Once he did that, the press turned on him and villified him like every other Republican. Now McCain certainly earned criticism. That’s an understatement. But the press turning on him like rabid dogs was stunning.

I believe that the media got blood in the water back in the 70s when they pretty much forced Nixon to resign. After that, it was open season on Republicans for the press.
