Gratuitous Gun Pic: A.H. Fox Exhibition Grade SxS (20ga)

I don’t know why I keep doing this to myself.  This just arrived at Steve Barnett’s Emporium Of Gun Lust:

Damn, but that is just flat-out beautiful.

Give me a minute while I check that lottery ticket…

Shit.

By the way, if you want to know more about the Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Company (CSMC), here’s Jonny Carter’s visit.

  1. I don’t know why you do it neither.

But you know what Mama used to say:
“The next best thing to looking and buying is looking and not buying.”

  2. Now that is a shotgun that sets my heart a stutter! that 20gauge loading has got to be rather mild for the clay fields and hunting field loads can’t be that bad. The wood alone is utterly gorgeous and then you focus in on the engraving and metal embellishment. That’s a work of art to say the least!! Unfortunately the price tag is in the same ballpark as that of a new truck!

C’mon lotto numbers!!! I suppose I better buy a ticket.

  3. Yes, just the wood alone. Drooool. Indeed a fabulous work of art.

Likely best I don’t own that. As careful as I might be, at the first “idiot” ding, I would be hard pressed not to commit and odd Japanese ritual of shame.
