  1. Meh. After a long-time-no-see, I usually hand-shake / hug my biker buddies like that. Starts with a hand shake and then pull it in for a quick hug and pat on the back. If you took a photo and cropped out the handshake, it’d pretty much look a lot like that.

Never been accused of being a girly man for doing that. At least not to my face.

    1. Looking at it again, though, it’s always right shoulder to right shoulder though.. not face to face huggy bear like what is pictured. It also helps being tall, burly, having lots of unkempt facial hair, and not wearing designer suits.

  2. I despise hugging any other guy. the one armed bro hug is appalling too.

Look each other in the eye and give a firm handshake. Men figured this out a long, long time ago.

  3. Close on fifty years ago, the boys were already being taught in grade school (NYC suburbs) that a limp handshake was de rigueur; it was now highly impolite to try to try to break the other guy’s knuckles when shaking hands.

The schools I attended (in five states, plus three DoDDS schools in Europe) never addressed the matter, but at some point in my late teens, my grandfather addressed the matter and got me squared away on handshakes.

Nowadays, though, it seems people want fist bumps or elbow bumps instead, because China virus. Grr.

      1. I’d originally been taught that it was firm yet not painful handshake with men and a nod to women. Later, when women wanted to be treated as men, eventually the rule was, “don’t actually shake her hand, but just gently grip it, or you’ll cripple her.”
Now, the question is how many girly men are out there who don’t want a firm handshake, either?

        1. If forced to shake hands with a gurlyboi, roll its knuckle joints one time and put its ass in the emergency room.

  4. Both fucking short arses, WEF shills, and Macron at least is gay.

You be sure the people of the UK and France will be the last to benefit from their love in.
