  1. Our Niece lives in the Bay area but her husband makes enough $ that they can afford to be totally woke. She is completely blinded by ideology and absolutely refuses to listen to any conflicting viewpoints. Her father has given up trying to explain and warn her of the coming apocalypse and just hopes that her husband continues to pull in the big $ they are going to need. He just sits quietly in his chair and hopes it won’t end badly.

  2. I have two cousins in San Fran with their families and boy are they woke. they ask me to visit. there are sites I’d like to see in California but the thought of going to that gotham of excrement filled streets, accosted by homeless and drug abusers etc is just too off putting.

California decries the use of petroleum and coal to provide electricity then has the audacity to ban gasoline and diesel power cars in the future and then telling owners of these glorified golf carts to not recharge them because their electrical grid can’t handle the additional load. This is when there aren’t that many electric cars on the road. Furthermore, California does nothing to mitigate the undergrowth in their forests and this creates more fuel for forest fires that are costly, destructive and take a lot of effort to extinguish before they cause millions of dollars of damage to people’s property. It’s like California politicians and their electorate compete to make worse decisions on every issue. it’s appalling because California was once a destination for opportunity and prosperity.

  3. VDH is quite close to the money in his forecast.
When the merchant class has had enough, they will start demanding change.
If the pols (reflecting the wishes of the donor class) balk, all Hell will break loose.
It’s almost there already, what with the organized shop-lifting and the street-crime.

    1. I hope the revolt includes sufficient tar and feathers for the ruling class and the donor class so that these types of people in other areas of the country learn the lesson too.

  4. Doubt this will affect the rulers much. VDH gives a good interview, but it sounds like two tiered justice. Smack the people who are law abiding and ignore the ones who are not. This will not end well.

    1. theyve been doing that for years with responsible gun owners who do not want to go to jail, lose their property or lose their rights. It’s far easier to coerce the honest people than it is to go after criminals.
