Wise Words

From Insty:

The purpose of “women’s groups” isn’t to help women.  It’s to keep women agitated, suggestible, and submissive to leftist ideology.  And leftist ideology is all about getting, retaining, and exercising power.

Women’s groups used to have a proper purpose in Western society.  Then, as the wrongs they protested were gradually eliminated, they lost their need to exist, but refused to do so.

It’s like still getting upset about the use of small boys as chimney-sweeps.

  1. “Then, as the wrongs they protested were gradually eliminated, they lost their need to exist, but refused to do so.”

That pretty much describes just about any organization. (March Of Dimes ring a bell?). Doubly so for any government agency. (The LAST thing any welfare agency wants is an end to poverty.)

    1. My mother LOATHED the March of Dimes. She never forgave them for not throwing a victory party and disbanding when the polio vaccine was developed.

    2. Don’t forget unions. They did well getting better pay and working conditions, but after that turned into political action committees the workers couldn’t get out of.

  2. Just as RandyGC says, any organizations primary purpose is to continue its own existence, even if that is contrary to its original purpose. You will also rarely see an organization submit graciously to reducing its budget or downsizing. Having worked for government and other large bureaucratic organizations, I have a lot of experience in this.

  3. The reason to use small boys to sweep chimneys is only because using small animals was classed as animal abuse, and small girls was deemed sexist…
