So Much For THAT Campaign

So one-time-moderate Republican Phil Bredesen is campaigning for the U.S. Senate seat in Tennessee, as a Democrat.

One might think that this would be an uphill battle as it is;  but apparently the people who are trying to get this tool elected said this recently:

A top spokesman for the Tennessee Democratic Party’s effort to get Phil Bredesen elected senator has said he views “white male” gun owners as “the biggest terrorist organization on the planet.”

In Tennessee.  Well, I guess there’s only one thing to say to Bredesen:  buh-bye.

In the meantime, all you dangerous white male gun-owning terrorists should do the responsible thing — no, not that thing, the voting thing.

And let’s make sure that Marsha Blackburn isn’t the only Republican sent to the Senate come November.  Ditto the House.

November 6 just can’t come quickly enough.

  1. Living in NJ as I do I have no doubt Bob Menendes will be returned to the Senate, despite the indictments against him and a documented “thing” for 14 year old hookers. He’ll win if every dead person in NJ needs to vote twice. Still, I’ll cast my vote against him, might as well be on a list as where I am.

    1. I had similar feelings back when I lived in Chicago and Jan Schakowski was my House rep….

      1. Thankfully, it appears sometime early next year we’ll be relocating to America, in the form of Pennsylvania. Not perfect, but better than NJ (damn few places aren’t).

And yes, a CCW and an AR-15 are on the list, why do you ask?

        1. By then, thanks to Democrat judges gerrymandering, they’ll have a solidly Dem state lege and gun control will be there.

  2. November 6 just can’t come quickly enough.

On the one hand, I agree. On the other hand, I fear November 7 and the weeks that follow, regardless of the outcome of the voting.

If the blue wave actually happens (which I doubt), the smug overreach by the insufferable Dems will be terrible, and when they actually impeach Trump (and maybe Kavanaugh), I see a real possibility for violence.

If the blue wave fails, or there is a red tsunami, I could see Soros and company starting the hot civil war in earnest.

  3. Most of Tennessee isn’t fooled by Bredesen; but Memphis, Nashville and Chattanooga swing things around here, much like Chicago/Cook County. Bredesen took money raised by Mikey Bloomberg, which doesn’t sit well with most of us, and I have no doubt he’d be Chucky Schumer’s bitch if elected.

Considering the Dems hi-jinks the last two years, I can’t see ever voting for another one the rest of my life. For the foreseeable future, I’m going to save time by voting the straight Republican ticket, vote to remove all judges, and “No” on any power grab ballot initiatives.
