Meet Sicilian-born Eleonora Incardona, who is a sports TV “reporter” for DAZN and bonks the occasional Italian footballer.

Oh yeah, she’s a one-time Miss Italy contestant, has a law degree and replaced Diletta Leotta (whom we’ve seen before here — scroll down) at DAZN.
Classic Beauty: Rosalind Russell
Rosalind Russell was one of those impossibly-beautiful and classy women of Hollywood’s Golden Era. When I first started putting this piece together, though, I couldn’t remember if I’d ever seen her in a movie. But as I looked at her pics, it all came back to me: His Girl Friday with Cary Grant, Mourning Becomes Electra with Michael Redgrave, and of course The Women — where she more than held her own against such divas as Joan Crawford, Norma Shearer, Ruth Hussey and Joan Fontaine. (All three movies come highly recommended, if you haven’t seen any of them before.)
And then there was that beauty and class:

I think I’m going to look for some of her other movies to watch, and marvel.
Thursday Landscape
This is a new feature on this blog. For some time, New Wife and I have spent many an hour enjoying C.W.’s fine website, and most especially his occasional “On The Road” posts which feature scenic landscapes of outstanding beauty. So (prompted by NW) I’ve decided to do more or less the same, only these pics will be those that I’ve taken on my many travels around the world, one or two at a time. Some of them were taken with an early-era digital camera (therefore low-resolution), so the quality may not be great; but I think you may still enjoy them nevertheless.
Here’s the first: View from the market square; Heidelberg, Germany (December 2008).

This is Diana Vickers, who is apparently a singer / actress / whatever from Britishland:

Dealing With The Heatwave
Apparently Britishland and their cross-Channel cousins are whining as they suffer the lash of a heatwave — what we in Texas would call a temperate summer — and here’s one Brit who’s not unhappy about it:
Mel, a hairdresser and mature psychology student, lives in her two-bedroom rented apartment in her block of flats in Warrington, Cheshire. “I chose this flat because the balcony gets sun in winter and summer,” she says. “I’m not bothered by people getting the odd eyeful. I’d rather strip down than cover up to enjoy this current burst of warm weather.”
Attagirl. And she’s not too awful to look at, either:

We need more women with her attitude, say I.
