No, this is not the housecleaning as Sarah Hoyt indulges in. This is the attempt to fix the Comments/login nonsense, which first involves clearing the ten thousand-odd spammers and bots, to name but some.

In my world (not a blogger, just a tired, old man,) housecleaning involves backing a dumpster up to the garage door and a team effort to fill it with everything except my recliner, the TV, and the kitchen table and equipment. Everything that’s been a treasure in my three-quarters of a century means nothing to anyone else. My housekeeping could be best accomplished with a front-end loader.
