Dropped New Wife off at the airport for her family reunion in Cape Town.

If anyone wants to know where I am, I’ll be in bed, under the covers, whimpering.
And I’m not coming out…

Wishing her safe travels and prompt return. As to you my boyo, time to buckle up and spend a week at the range, Practice makes perfect, whimpering under covers does naught.
A Ford Tri-Motor I believe.
Been a while since I last saw one
I think you’re right. YEEEEAAARRS ago the Harrah Collection in Reno had one, that you could stick your head into and look into.
Crude by todays standard, or even the standard of my yoot……….but I immediately wanted to go back in time and be a passenger aboard such a plane.
That’s when I realized I was probably born 40 years too late for my personality.
The last one still flying is somewhere near Detroit and I think has some relation to Ford motor company. former employees I think own/operate it. Saw it in our local airfield a couple of years ago (I am in SW Michigan).
Safe travels to her.
Range time, dinner with buddies?
Safe travels to her.
Are you going to be alone over Christmas?
Nah, I’m hosting the annual Boxing Day Dinner for the kids. Always a fun time, and I have the cooking part nailed down.
May the new wife have safe travels and return soon to our sunny shores. We are getting snow up here. Weatherman has been calling it right of late so they will soon be insufferable.
