Some TDS Bolshevik on Fox commented, paraphrasing, that oil was $69/bbl in Feb 26 and $102/bbl in Apr 26, and it’s because Trump is stupid, and billionaires, etc.
I looked into historical oil price data, year by year, corrected for inflation to Aug of 2026, and found that the average oil price during other presidents’ terms to be just the opposite:
Trump 2025-2026 ……….$75.48/bbl
Biden 2021-2024…………$85.69/bbl
Trump 2017-2020………..$57.96/bbl
Obama 2009-2016……… $83.89/bbl

Oil companies have no reason to spend billions to drill baby drill or build more refineries while already making good profits and facing the uncertainty of the Bolshevik Econazis coming back in power.
