I have an admission to make: I’ve never seen Conan The Destroyer, mostly because the fantasy thing isn’t mine, and cartoonish epic adventures likewise. So I never saw Olivia D’Abo there. I also never watched the silly TV series The Wonder Years, because the “coming of age” thing bores me to tears. So I never saw Olivia D’Abo there either.
But I did watch the TV series Law And Order: Criminal Intent, and watched Olivia D’Abo play the most evil of all TV villains — she even made the brilliant Vincent D’Onofrio take a back seat every time she appeared on camera.
It doesn’t hurt that she’s gorgeous, either.
And she hasn’t got any less gorgeous as she’s aged, either.
I think it’s the eyes that do it for me.

If memory serves (and it doesn’t always) she has a twin sister named Miriam. I could Google it but…meh.
Maryam d’Abo is her cousin. She played Kara in “The Living Daylights”, who inexplicably beat out Virginia Hey (John Rhys-Davies’ mistress) for the role. Just like “The Spy Who Loved Me”, when the wooden plank (aka Barbara Bach) beat out Caroline Munro to play Anya.
Like I say. I couldn’t be bothered. IIRC there was a gorgeous Walter 5000 sniper rifle in that show

Ugh.
The end result is a disaster of a film that tries to be fun and campy and silly while taking itself absolutely seriously at the same time. And the script in general and the dialogue in particular are hot garbage.
