Have a friend who has had over 60 skin cancers burnt/cut off/excised because of … the sun. Show me those girls in 30 years’ time.

Maybe. At my age all bets are off. Live as long as I can. Just buried a friend who was 102 years of age. He lived a bit longer than he expected. Born in 1923 or so. But if I make his age that would be 32 more. Not sure where you are but it is possible.
I find the over tanned women eventually start to resemble a well worn baseball mitt.
Of course the old joke is still nice, what do a woman with tan lines have in common with chicken? the white parts are best!
