That fuckin’ Muir guy… just makes me giggle.
I am nevertheless flattered by the fact that one of my enraged, near-incoherent rants has apparently made it into some canon or other.
And for those New Readers or otherwise youngins who have no clue what all this is about, here we go again. (Please note the date of the original’s publication.)
You have done many good essays over the years, but the Pussification essay and Two Patrias were some of your best! Do you still have a copy of Two Patrias? I cannot find it anywhere.
Good stuff.
Hard to believe I’ve been reading your blog, in one form or the other, for well over 20 years. It’s been a journey.
Indeed. Probably a 20+ year vet here too. I can’t even remember how I got to the old NOTR.
I read that and thought it was great and worked perfectly with your article from a long time ago. I still send it around to people once in a while when needed. Do you two talk back and forth once in a while or was this a hat tip for your mention a bit back?
Nah. Chris and I converse every so often, but we don’t do the reciprocation thing.
Ahahahahaha! Congratulations Kim. Recognition and canonization(of a sort). I read the Pussification blog entry back on Nation of Riflemen, and unfortunately it still stands the test of time.
I haven’t read that essay in a long time so I guess it’s time for a refresher. The Let Africa Sink essay was interesting too. I should reread that too
I know we’ve discussed it before but I do hope you’ll change your mind on compiling your essays into a book. Otherwise all your good stuff will disappear into the bit bucket.
I still have a file of Steven den Beste’s writings but I wish he’d compiled them into a book.
