I must confess, looking back at my posts over the past few weeks, that I’m not batting up to my usual standards. For one thing, the news and current affairs just suck. If one doesn’t want to write about the Iran war (and I don’t) or talk about current political affairs (Swalwell’s resignation in disgrace, and not a moment too soon either) which I couldn’t be arsed to do either, then what’s left is guns ‘n roses Righteous Shootings, broads (see below) cars and music.
And on that last topic, I have to confess too that writing the Memoirs each week does drain Ye Olde Wryting Batterye a great deal, in terms of both time and mental effort. Never mind; I think that will all be over in about three weeks’ time, at which point normal service may be resumed. Or not, I dunno.
My brain hurts. I need coffee.

I enjoy your Saturday Memoir batting well above “standard”. As to the shitty politics of our days, they are beneath comment most if the time, even as rage bait. Guns are always worth a mention, as are cars. Totty leaves me cold, but then I am the self-appointed sarcasto-sore-arse, so must have some standards of my own. If you write Kim, we will come.
Ps. Sundays’ Old Broads feature is nice.
I came late to reading your Saturday memoirs. I read Chapter 11 I think. Now I need to reading the first several chapters.
Guns, chicks, cars, some news/human interest stuff, music, travels, art and architecture, all good stuff.
I like the reading list you put together a while back for home schooling. A movie list would be nice.
Kim, I enjoy anything you write, don’t assume because you’ve always done it you have to keep doing it.
Write about what you like, whatever moves you in the moment. Your loyal readers appreciate it. My big worry is you’ll burn out and quit doing it.
Don’t. Burn out, I mean. And while not a “car guy” your posts always interest me. I’m clearly a gun guy, as you well know, and totties? Well who doesn’t love those?
Do whatever you feel is fun and makes you happy. Don’t feel like you have a “job” here, my friend!

Eh, you’re doing fine. I went on the internet to talk about Iran, and it turns out only stupid people do that. As for the Busker stuff, that’s your legacy and someone will be wanting it later.
Look at the bright side….if things are like that photo, you’re about to get sucked off….big time….and who doesn’t like a good sucking off. 😉
