Now build a “custom drum” with an attached 5″ barrel, and fill said drum with .22 LR or .22 WMR boolets.

Bet that would get the cat off the countertop though without pissing off the ‘ol lady for having to clean her lap pal off the wall.
And clean up the foam dart litter all over the floor. I’ve already gotten tired of my neighbors’ boys leaving their nerf darts all over my yard, so much so I just run over them with my mower rather than return them. Give them one of those gadgets and I’d have more darts than grass, and the boys’ parents would go broke from buying “ammo.”
