The Royal Berkshire Shooting School (now owned by Purdey) which I think you went to once is trying to get planning for expanded use etc etc

including a massive bit on an Environmental Noise Assessment.
The Purdey at Royal Berkshire makes me want to go bust some clays but unfortunately the clay fields are covered with snow
That was a big factor in my choice yesterday.
The Welsh option is that you get a big house with lots of space that comes with expensive maintenance and heavy restrictions on what you can do with the property.
The Texas option while not as spacious, would certainly be less expensive to maintain but the amenities you want, shooting, fishing, hunting, outdoor walks in the cooler weather, political climate, social climate etc are just outside your doorstep.
