Alert Reader Pete D. sends me this report*:

First Afrikaners granted refugee status due to arrive in U.S.

The U.S. government has officially granted 54 Afrikaans South Africans, white descendants of mainly Dutch colonizers, refugee status and they are expected to land in the U.S. on Monday May 12, three sources with knowledge of the matter have told NPR.

(Note the little “colonizers” snark — it’s NPR, after all.)

And further down:

States that have agreed to take in the South Africans include:  Alabama, California, Idaho, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New York, Nevada, North Carolina and Iowa.

Not Texas, probably because we have enough / too many Seffricans here already.  And California and New York?  Wait till our newly-minted immigrants who choose those locations try to buy themselves a gun.  (Hint: it’s more difficult than in Seffrica.)

And lastly:

The UN’s International Organization for Migration had refused to be involved in the process.

Of course they would.  These refugees are whities;  only darkies qualify to be refugees because slavery (or something).

Anyway:  Welkom by die States, julle.  Veels geluk.

*Pete, buddy:  WTF are you doing reading NPR?

  1. “ Pete, buddy: WTF are you doing reading NPR?”

Pete is likely very smart. Sometimes you have to tune into the communist propaganda to see what the enemy is up to.

    1. I got the link off of Free Republic, IIRC, or another outlet on our side of the aisle.

    2. Indeed. I’ve listened to NPR for decades. You can learn a lot from them; and not always what they want you to learn.

Interestingly enough, I heard one of the most elegant defenses of the 2nd Amendment on NPR, on the occasion of an anniversary of the passage of the Bill of Rights. It was followed the next day by a spittle-flecked annoyed rebuttal, of course, but there you are.

  2. “ The UN’s International Organization for Migration had refused to be involved in the process.

Of course they would. These refugees are whities; only darkies qualify to be refugees because slavery (or something).”

What was one of Joe Biden’s famous lines?

    “ You ain’t black”

  3. ON the bright side if more of them do settle in California or NY, could they change the electoral demographics of those states? I know, you’d need millions of turn the tide of those blue state shit holes.

  4. Not that they say but I wonder how many of these Boers are from farming background and why more farming states don’t welcome them? The Boer are really good dry land farmer/ranchers and could find an instant home in the I states, NE, OK, eastern CO, ND, SD (but it would be really cold for them up there).

  5. Maybe you could open your own North Texas resettlement office?

My question would be, are most of those coming urbanites or rural folk, because we could use the latter on the High Plains as ranch managers etc. Maybe even game farms.

  6. I see the usual suspects are now claiming the charges of “genocide” in South Africa are not true. The South African government investigated itself and determined it did nothing wrong.

Frankly, encouraging white Seffricans to come here to America is long overdue. From everything I’ve read they are, for the most part, honest, loyal, and hard working people.

  7. The international left believes that whites shouldn’t be allowed to live in South Africa, but it seems they also believe that whites shouldn’t be permitted to leave South Africa. Pretty tough on the folks caught in the middle.

    1. “The international Left believes that Whites shouldn’t be allowed to live.”

      FIFY.

  8. WRT guns, your compatriots should find Montana quite suitable. Of course, it’s rather colder.

  9. I know you will refuse Kim, but if there was a voice that could organize an effort by South Africans that have made the leap across the pond and established themselves to help out these new beneficial additions to American society it would be a tremendous thing to help get them settled and on the right path. I know they will likely be very self sufficient, proud, handy, hard working additions all on their own, unlike the last 4 yrs worth, but it surely would help to get them to places and jobs that will set them up for success in their new country.
I wish them all the best and much success in their new lives.
