well, if these illegal migrants are being deported and they used to pick our crops, we now have job openings for all the DEI meatheads.
I doubt the DEI meat heads are capable of working as hard as the migrants.
Back in the 1960’s, my Dad tried hiring local workers to pick our cherries instead of the migrants. It did not work at all well. The best of them were about half as fast as migrants – even though we paid piece-work, like $1.00 per 25 pound box of cherries. The worst wouldn’t go up ladders, and I wound up picking the tops of whole rows of cherry trees myself. But I suspect these low-ambition, low-income losers were much better workers than a government DEI bureaucrat.
As I’ve often said (usually in the comments section of Insty) (that’s Pundit, not Gram), “Woke”, aside from the atrocious grammar, is just an awakening without the concomitant enlightenment. It is to actual wisdom as masturbation is to actual reproduction.
