  1. I’ve been to one of those axe throwing places for a work team building event. It was actually pretty fun. They’re a little strict on how much beer you can consume in the throwing area (for obvious reasons), but they also allow you to bring in your own throwing implements if you want (subject to review). Kinda like drinking a few beers and throwing darts, only with the added risk of death should the axe bounce back.

    1. There’s one near me situated across the street & 2 doors down from a very fine craft brewery pub room. I’d be quite unsurprised to find out that there is a certain amount pre-gaming at the pub before continuing the festivities at the ax-throwing place.

  2. my missus went to a Becoming an Outdoors Woman event sponsored by the National Wild Turkey Foundation several years ago. She had fun throwing axes so we built a target in the backyard. It’s very fun!

The racist video game developer should be fired and barred from meaningful employment after she undergoes six months of sensitivity training.

There hasn’t been much chatter about the armed citizens patrolling the streets in Hartford. It’s long overdue. Hartford is a terrible place to live. They spent tax dollars to build a stadium to move a minor league baseball team from a neighboring city. Construction of the stadium was delayed and had significant cost over runs and such. Then as it was being built, the city declared it couldn’t pay its bills for the school system because it didn’t have the money. Once the insurance capitol of America, Hartford is a cesspit of a city.

TikTok changes hands from ChiComs spying on its users to the US Government spying on its users. Will anyone notice any real difference?

when will we recognize that prison does not do enough to punish and does nothing to rehabilitate sex criminals. Rapists and pedos should be immediately hanged upon conviction. The same should happen to the parole board that releases these predators onto society

  3. I’ve long held that rape should be a capital crime. Child rape should warrant burning at the stake or being boiled alive.

    1. SLant,
      A couple of questions:

      1) do you get the tank to boiling then put the pedo in head first or feet first?

      2) or do you put the pedo in the pot with cold water and heat it up slowly?

      3) is the pedo put in the tank then boiling water poured over them?

      4) how important is recycling in this? can the water be reused for other pedos?

    2. I totally agree with the sentiment. I have problems with implementation. Specifically; I remember the Day Care Child Abuse panic. Charges of child abuse get hugely emotional and as the Hysteria proved that leads to flawed trials. The accused were convicted based on ‘evidence’ that was largely at odds with physical reality. Children who showed NO SIGN of ever having had sex (it leaves physical traces even if all ejaculate is long gone) were believed when they repeated stories that – it developed – they were coached into repeating by True Believers. A few of the accused pleaded guilty to avoid the harshest penalties, because they were browbeaten into it. Nobody responsible for this travesty was ever punished (looking at YOU, Janet Reno).

I want two things; a ten year waiting period before execution; not simply counting on appeals and delays. Built in. And an established law that says that a Prosecutor and anyone connected with the prosecution who it develops knew or should have known that the accusation was drivel, gets prosecuted for attempted murder.

      1. I pretty much had this exact same argument some 30 years ago with someone who, get this, actually said we should “BELIEVE ALL CHILDREN” and that children never lie. OMG of course he was the pre-internet version of some simpering incel who never raised a child and knew nothing of human nature, but there you go.

That daycare case, plus the satanism scare of the 80’s, really shaped my cynicism of all news stories to this day. I believe nothing printed.

And yeah, prosecutors who abuse their position should suffer the same fate as their intended victims – I’m looking at the assholes who tried to prosecute Kyle Rittenhouse. They should serve the same sentence they tried to oppose on him, plus pay all his legal bills and then some. That type of BS goes on far more often that we’d like to admit.

But yeah, catch a pedo in the act? S-S-S. That simple.

    1. That was utterly disgusting and thrilling to watch at the same time. Thanks for sharing Jack

    2. I grew up in Tacoma, just a stone’s throw away. I was 5 when the whale went boom, and a friend of my dad’s was involved in the cleanup. He said it was as putrid & disgusting as one would expect.

    1. Unwarranted omission. I got bogged down and forgot.

I had no idea that this was a popular feature, but I should have known…

  4. Hmm. I’ve spent my life around Buddhists. I was unaware of methamphetamine components to any of their rituals. A little known sect, perhaps.

The slant-eyed contingent of my family is from Hawaii, and most of our homes are furnished with small Buddhist shrines in our living rooms. I was 10 or 11 when we were visiting one year, and answered the door to a Jehovah’s Witness while my grandmother was doing her daily prayers. I told him we’re not interested. He was turning to leave when grandma hit the little gong on her shrine, & the Wit went off. Ripped into us as idolators, you’re jeopardizing your souls blah blah blah. I told him again we’re not interested. He wasn’t having any.

A Samoan friend of the family (Manu – 6’4″, 240#) came to the door & said “hey brah, little man say go so go.” The Wit ignored him & doubled down on his rant. Like many Hawaiian homes, grandma’s was on stilts about 10 feet off the ground (flood precaution). Manu stepped out onto the deck, grabbed the Wit by the collar & the belt, and pitched him off the landing. The Wit let out a little shriek when he hit the ground, picked himself up and limped off.

Entertainment. It’s all around us; you just keep an open mind.
