Americans wouldn’t know her, but former Seffrican hottie Glynis Barber has been a fixture on Brit TV shows for decades. Here she is in the early years:

She’s a year younger than I am, which makes her (as I write this) 68.
Not fair, really.
We saw her here in a couple of shows.
Dempsey and Makepeace was pretty good, and aired in syndication in the US for a couple of years.
Blake’s 7 only had Glynis for a single season, but she was definitely memorable in that one, too.

WOW! How did I ever miss seeing this one? Still stunning at 68 I’d say.

Good grief we’re related (born Glynis Van der Riet). Our tribe became Anglicized and the name is pronounced Vandereet to rhyme with sander, dander, gander etc.
