  1. At one time music hall rock was very popular, thinking of the Stones’ Mother’s Little Helper, XTC’s Senses Working Overtime, which in turn inspired bands like Yazoo and Flock of Seagulls, the death without the metal.

  2. Very melodic – I don’t hear a beat to dance to, tho…

Can’t picture my mom caterwauling over this – she was more into Statler Bros, much more easy-listening.

Funny, but I don’t hear Jeff in this – must have been young, or in the background.

  3. Roy Wood and The Move are old favorites. Their recordings were among the first vinyl I digitized when I finally switched to CDs a very long time ago.

These two songs are from their early days, before Lynne joined the band.
