Bygone Broads 3

Seems like the combination of bedroom-poster-worthy cars and women is becoming a fan favorite over on this back porch of mine, so here we go with another “pairing”.  This time, it’s the Sunbeam Tiger / AC Cobra 427 and Ann-Margret.

And another lil’ red thing:

And a little while later:

  1. There are some women who, well, the older they get the better they get.

    This is one such woman.

  2. When I was 12 in 1967 the neighbor had a Tiger, white with black interior, and a 289 V8. Could hear it coming down the street. I’ve always wanted one, and still.

  3. My dad had a chance to buy a Sunbeam Tiger not long after he graduated from high school. He didn’t take advantage of the opportunity and regretted it for the rest of his life.

  4. Never was smitten by the British Sporties, as a bulkier sort I could never squeeze into the seat, and the less said about my buddy’s MG the better. Miss Ann however is a completely different story. Saw her in Grumpy Old Men, and thought she was still bringing the heat well into her later years. Fine wine, fine wine.
