The word you are looking for (or should have been looking for) is hysteria. It’s a perfectly good word, has all sorts of linguistic roots, and should not be subjected to Jesse Jackson-style orotundity.

Which should be contrasted to their now daily irony of “Let’s piss Russia off by supporting a non-allied Ukraine, so they don’t reveal all the dirty dealings with the Biden empire, and possibly get us involved in a live fire of everybody’s tactical nuclear weaponry, allowing us to declare martial law as an excuse to negate the mid-terms, and before we have to cheat the shit out of them to retain power. “

The left and the Democrat cult, redundancy alert, have been in hysterics since Nixon. They’ve just moved into outright bat shit crazy.
WHen I worked and visited Boston, there was usually an evangelical in the subway station holding a sign that said something to the effect of “Repent now! The End is Near!” Generally he held his sign and was innocuous. The democrats can’t make the same claim of being harmless. Democrat policies work against American strength, safety and prosperity. Now they are beyond hysterical with their sky screaming, shouting down normal people and their incessant tantrums. I believe PJ O’Rourke recognized this years ago.
