since I became a nurse, the stories I could tell….. That meme about the nurse sleeping in the real world is absolutely dead nuts true. Even an eight hour shift of dealing with the stupidity of people is exhausting. They come for healthcare then they refuse treatment and medication. leaving AMA, against medical advice means far less paperwork. Go for it scooter!! See you in a couple of weeks.

Can confirm. It’s astonishing I made it to my mid-50s, but OTOH I haven’t spent a night in a hospital since Ronnie Raygun was President. So I guess it toughened me up.
My doctor is a 34 year old hottie. She is second generation, in practice with her father.
About 20 years ago I had a “friends with benefits” relationship with a nurse for a couple of years. She wasn’t particularly attractive, but was always enthusiastic and seemed to like seeing me a time or 2 a week. I wasn’t the only guy in her “rotation” either, but neither was she in mine, so… we both got what we wanted out of it.
