One of my all-time favorites and a nice track from Slow Hand. It was the outtro song to the film “Phenomenon”, which starred John Travolta and was Kyra Sedgwick’s breakout performance, with Robert Duvall and Forest Whitaker in supporting roles, and Richard Kiley was briefly in it as well (as a pretty unlovely character) in one of his last roles.
Clapton actually played three different guitars on the recording; you really have to listen to hear them all.
Here’s a movie about just that, with that song in the soundtrack.
