I know, I know… $160 grand for an old Jag is sick — California pricing for an antique is just wrong.
But have mercy:

Talk about getting wood:

…and with its pretty little hat on:

Then there’s that 140hp 3.4-liter six-cylinder power plant, in case you weren’t already persuaded.
Want.
That price is entirely reasonable too me. The restoration costs were likely double that number. I would certainly want to know when the last refresh was done and how long it’s been sitting in a collection unused. With 2,600 + on the ( refreshed ) odometer it hasn’t seen all that much use. Probably enough to keep things lubed and operational but I’d want to know more recent history. maybe 1000 miles a year on a regular basis, I have a friend who has an Aluminum bodied Closed Coupe 120 version that he drives regularly ( well now that it’s better weather anyway ) like anything it needs regular exercise. If you don’t occasionally drive it and or show it somewhere, why do you have it? Remember that with any collector car like this the documentation is as important as the actual car.
