Kate Bush — one (actually two songs) of my all-time favorites. She wrote this at age 14, and was 19 when she recorded it.

Ooooh, that album.
That was my first serious girlfriend’s favourite record. Putting that on the turntable was her was of saying “here and now”. Lol, never got sick of that album.
That, and putting on “cant buy a thrill” would have us dancing.
Was a keeper for sure but I didn’t know what I had. ****sigh****
At that age all I wanted to do was play my guitar, take drugs, drink myself stupid and ride my motorbike too fast. All of which I did with great determination and frequency, much to the alarm and dismay of everyone around me.
Even what, nearly 50 years later I can’t hear that record without thinking about Helen.

At that age, all I wanted was to do your #1 and #3, and sleep with every woman I fancied. I have to admit, I didn’t do too badly at any of them.
As to the ones that I let get away… don’t get me started. My only great relief is that I finally ended up with one of them. That would be New Wife.
