Having never seen any of BB’s movies, I can only judge her from the still photos. And honestly, I just don’t get it. There are at least three other Frenchies in this post who I would rank much, MUCH higher than her. (Francoise? Oui, s’il vous plait!) I’m not overly enamored of Marilyn Monroe either, but at least I get it with her.
Same here. Must be a generational thing cause everyone older than me digs her, but I just don’t see it either. That very first pic? She looks like a particularly spoiled brat who was just told no for the first time. Not very appealing (unless you have a sadistic pedophilic streak).
In terms of that generation, I’d take Raquel Welch any day of the week over Bridget.
Mlle Bardot never did anything for me. At the risk of being thought an Ugly American (which I am) none of the French wimmins of yore ever did anything for me. Just thought they and their alleged “exoticness” were highly overrated.
