This article caught my attention:
Britain’s ‘ghost’ island: Tragic reason why last residents of remote archipelago left 95 years ago today
He’s talking about St. Kilda in the Outer Hebrides, and I believe the answer may be found on this map:

…which makes me think of only one thing: future internment camp for illegal aliens.
Yeah, tell me you didn’t think of that too.
I was thinking https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rockall .
You betcha! Time honored solution for incorrigible communists (err, I mean miscreants).
Frogs used it for Napoleon, Brits for those who are now known as Aussies (they screwed up, should have just moved the entire population of England over and left the rest to the Scots and Welsh and Krauts).
Seems to me we too have a few distant Islands in the Aleutians that would work just fine for holding illegals. I am sure they will adapt to a diet of fish, fish more fish and the occasional seal.
There’s a small archipelago at the mouth of the Hudson River that has worked for centuries.

Actually, my first thought was finally, a nice place to be alone.
As for the illegals, fly them back to their home country via Air Pinochet.
I thought that they could be ferried TO St. Kilda and offloaded by the Air Pinochet method…
Well, if I was living all by my lonesome on St. Kilda, I would have some need of entertainment. We’d just need to establish safe drop zones and such. Plus maybe introduce wild hogs or other such beasts for clean-up duty.
I wonder if Sea Birds are Halal? The article mentioned that they offloaded sheep and goats already, so the asylum seekers may have to fuck them instead of eating them.
I looked it up on Google Maps and it’s got a ground-level view of that main street in the restored village. Who’d’a thunk?
