My wife are going to see Steve Winwood this summer at Wolftrap. She initially balked at the ticket price ($350/2), but after watching a few of his videos she piped down. I had to drag her kicking and streaming to ELO’s final tour show in DC last year and she had the time of her life. She’s Perkistani (half Iranian, half Pakistani), and 15 years younger than me (I’m 67) so she mostly just doesn’t get it. But she’s gettin’ it.
