So the sicko responsible for the recent Minnesota school shooting has been identified as some trannie or other. Most notable about this sorry tale has been the response from both sides of the political debate.
To the Left, of course, it’s all about eeevil gunsgunsguns and How They Should All Be Banned.
To the non-Left, is just another example of how the Great Trannie Craze has unhinged kids’ minds.
I’m indifferent to both camps. Of course, the “Bans Guns Now!” bullshit doesn’t work for me for all the usual reasons (stop me if you’ve heard them all before): gun bans don’t work because evil people will always find a way to get them, and a universal gun ban would be impossible to implement and/or enforce, etc.
I’m also scornful of the “Trannie-ism Poisons Minds” mantra. I mean, yes it might well do that — and there seems to be an awfully high percentage of recent mass shootings / stabbings recently committed by trannies, despite the efforts of the police and Leftists to disguise the trend — but the simple fact of the matter is that the cause of mental illness is largely irrelevant. Some asshole might go on a spree because his girlfriend just left him, because he can’t get a girlfriend (the “incel” syndrome), because he recently got fired by the company where he ended up playing his reindeer games, because the victims are part of a group he hates, because a black dog told him to do it… or just because it was Thursday.
The reasons for the atrocity, therefore, are less important than the outcome of the the thing: innocent people got killed or wounded by some sick asshole. And looked at clinically, the weapons used (guns, knives, bombs, whatever) are largely irrelevant: whatever the tool selected, bad things happened.
Everyone seems to be obsessed with discovering the motive of the sicko, when in fact the motive is irrelevant: whatever drove the male/female/combination mass murderer to go all Texas Tower on innocent people, there’s not a whole lot we as a society can do about it.
And that’s the tragedy of the thing. Bodyguards all over the place — whether the Secret Service, police or Rent-A-Cops — will tell you that the hardest situation to prepare for is the Random Sicko because he gets to pick the victim(s), the place and the time.
As I see it, the only way one can try to prevent the mass shooting/stabbing/clubbing event is to be alert, be prepared and to be armed — whether as individuals carrying a gun, or by extension as an organization employing an armed security service. It may not be possible to prevent the atrocity, but it may be possible to contain it.
It really sucks that a Catholic school such as the one in Minneapolis should have to do the latter just to safeguard the children it’s looking after, and it sucks that I should have to carry a gun and three magazines to the supermarket on every visit, but that seems to be the way of the world these days.
The left is using it as a blood libel against Jews, Christians, and gun owners.
The right is using it as a blood libel against transgender people.
Both are equally vile.
What is the ‘blood libel’ against transgenders?
I say they are insane, crazy, deranged, mentally ill, whatever terms suits you, and feel sorry for them.
I still intend to protect myself and my family from their insane actions.

The percentage of deranged people and violent criminals is no higher among transgender people than it is among the general population, yet we’re blamed for everything bad in the world.

I’ve seen several places this morning that the shooter had made a video reading from his journal that he regretted being trans (though he seems to have wished he were a girl, but realized it was impossible) . He also wished he had never brainwashed himself.
He supposedly wrote that he knew he wasn’t a woman, but he didn’t feel like a man.
It sounds like he had problems, and had been brainwashed into believing that “transitioning” would solve them, but now knew that to be a lie. I do wonder if he was on hormones, because I would imagine that could be at least part of why he didn’t feel like a man.
Just a point of comparison – as the banners are wont to do, they claim an especially dangerous and deadly potential for ‘assault weapons’. I just want to point out that the percentage of GenDys that have become mass shooters greatly exceeds the percentage of ‘assault’ rifles involved in mass shootings, and only one category of the two has any volition whatsoever.
It seems to me that the Trans shooter problem is probably exacerbated by two things;
1) Telling an unstable adolescent (but I repeat myself, and yes, I include my adolescent self) that doing something will solve his/her problems when it won’t is a recipe for trouble.
2) ‘Gender affirming care’, even when it does not involve surgery, includes taking large doses or hormones that we already know affect emotional thinking.
If we said to kids who want to be the opposite sex; “Well, try dressing that way and see if it makes you feel better, before you start taking large doses of poorly understood drugs” I think the problem would be a lot smaller.
these trans people are clearly mentally ill. They need psychiatric treatment not surgical mutilation and hormones.
I prefer to think of trans people as disabled – physically (e.g. androgen insensitivity, extra chromosome) or mentally or both. This does not exclude the possibility of further mental issues.

I disagree. To start with, I think the whole trannie thing is a fad. There are always going to be sick and crazy people, and they will attach their crazy to the fad of the day. So I’m not so much blaming this on trannies as I’m blaming it on crazies who think they are trannies, plus everyone else who supports them too.
But one more big thing is medication. SSRI drugs. It appears that a great many of the recent mass shooters had one thing in common – prescription SSRI drugs. It sounds like RFK Jr. is at least going to finally look at that angle. After way too fucking long.
And then finally, while the perp may have been crazy, way too many of these shootings have the appearance of wind-up toys. I’m not convinced the Uvalde asshole acted alone. There’s no way the unemployed, poor, no driver’s license shooter bought all that fucking gear over a two day period. The Las Vegas shooter is another wind-up toy too. And we’ve yet to hear anything on that. We know the two muslims who drove from Arizona to Garland Texas were being followed (helped) by an FBI handler who conveniently left the scene and was never heard from again.
I certainly hope that with Trump’s people in place, we get some answers on these.
