I love the way Khatia always becomes part of the orchestra — she’s listening and participating, rather than just waiting for her turn to feature. (Other “virtuoso” pianists should take note.)
I need to get some of her performances on CD / DVD.
I know I’ve featured Anita Ekberg on these pages many times before, as well as giving her a little solo outing; but can one ever have too much Ekberg, I ask? I think not. So here are a few I haven’t posted before:
