If you think a little thing like crap weather is going to stop Parisians from doing what they do so well, think again. And here’s the background music: two whole hours of it.
Wish I was there.

Parisians? Where are the burning cars?
Never been out side of the USA. Don’t think I ever want to.
However, in my opinion, sitting anywhere that is a peaceful spot for you when it is raining and you enjoy a cup of hot tea or hot coffee is so peaceful and relaxing.
I’ve done it many, many times in Paris, and no other city comes close to the experience, except maybe Vienna.
I could dig that. Grab a book and read for a bit, people watch and enjoy good coffee.
We did that in Dublin at a Bewley’s establishment with tea. It was Grafton Street so the scenery was good and the people watching was interesting.
I’ve tried to do that a cigar shop and the guy next to me got gabby. He was interesting but so much for reading.
Ah, Paris… Another pleasant thing to do is pick up a baguette at a boulangerie and nibble on it while aimelessly wandering the city. (Of course, these days, you’d have to find out where the no-go zones are. sigh…)
