Here’s a trend that I’m completely behind:
Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi made a quick exit after Trump’s election victory and vowed to never return.
Ryan Gosling and his wife Eva Mendes also made the move alongside America Ferrera, who fled the US in search of the ‘best opportunities’ for her children in the UK.
Courtney Love and Minnie Driver have also made the move across the Atlantic since the election last year. [Driver is a Brit, so she doesn’t count.]
And of course there’s Rosie O’Donnell, who ended up in Northern Ireland.

George Lucas has bought a huge £40 million mansion in London, joining a number of American liberal celebrities fleeing the US.
In what is likely to be one of the biggest residential buys in the UK this year, the Star Wars creator is set to move to St John’s Wood.
Yeah well fuck ’em all. The more of these assholes who GTFO, the purer the air Over Here becomes.
What’s going to be really interesting is when these “Trump refugees” come face to face with Britishland’s problems: skyrocketing crime, illegal immigrant flooding and, should they stay there long enough, HM’s voracious taxes.

I just find it interesting that they’re choosing the UK (outside the EU) and not Ireland (inside the EU).
The problem – or ironic – part of this is that all of them are rich enough that their wealth insulates them from their own bad choices. Fully supports DEI but lives in a secluded mansion surrounded by a giant wall. Vote for socialist/commie candidates but will never go hungry or go to a gulag because they are the “pretty people” that politicians love to pose beside. They can live in California, or invade Montana or Texas, go to Canada or the UK, or take over a Caribbean Island. It doesn’t matter because they can simply buy their way into a comfortable and safe position.
The real funny part is that for all their wealth, they are about as entertaining as dancing monkeys. Dance, monkey, dance. Fuck them all.
That’s because they ARE dancing donkeys that spend their lives pretending to be someone else, speaking someone else’s words.

Hey, I hate the BBC as much as anyone, or more than most, but even I wouldn’t inflict The View on them.
They may give a myriad of reasons for leaving (“I’m leaving because Donald Trump _______________” (fill in the blank.)) Correct me if I’m wrong, but don’t most if not all of the people mentioned above have property or business interests in New York and/or California? I’m curious as to the real reasons they might be leaving.
