She passed away just this past week, at age 87. I’ve featured Claudia Cardinale before (here), but this magnificent woman truly deserves a full post all to herself. Let’s start with the black & white series:

I wondered how long it would take post-mortem for her to make it to these pages. Well before my time but I was completely smitten by her in the execrable Pink Panther 1 movie. Her laying on the bearskin rug was the only thing that made me re-watch that show.
