Modern Classic Beauty: Monica Bellucci

I’ve featured her before, here and there, but not in depth (so to speak).  So here’s Italy’s worthy successor to Sophia and Gina:  Monica Bellucci.  I was going to start with young Monica and work my way up [ahem] to the present day, but like Sophia and Gina, La Monica is pretty much astounding at any age.  So I’ll just do a monochrome set first, and leave the color for another time.  Okay?

Que bella.

Modern Classic Beauty: Sasha Alexander

While Angie Harmon got a lot of attention in TV’s Rizzoli & Isles  (and deservedly so), I have to admit to a sneaking crush on her co-star, Sasha Alexander.  And I don’t think I can be faulted for that:

More?  Why, sure…

And to be quite honest, I think that Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander were without question the most toothsome twosome on television, ever.

Feel free to disagree, but you’d be wrong.

Clarification

As any fule know, I love the pneumatic Carol Vorderman for all sorts of reasons:

…but at the same time, I’m not that fooled when I see headlines like this one:

…because let’s be honest, if those bountiful 63-year-old curves were not shoehorned into and corralled by “figure-hugging outfits”, she’d probably resemble a half-filled baggie of Jello.

Not that there’s much wrong with that, of course.  I find Jello quite lovely to eat, and I’m pretty sure that this would also be true of la  Vorderman.

Classic Beauty: Jane Russell

Probably one of the greatest sex symbols… actually, Jane Russell wasn’t.  Although she certainly had the body to qualify for the title, she was never overtly sexual like Marilyn or Mae and so she remained a favorite simply as a pinup.  I think she was extraordinary.

…and of course, the most famous ones of her, rolling in the hay so to speak:

Astonishing.
