My Dad was a German who wound up in Canada first as a POW in 1943 then in 51 as an immigrant.
He lectured me endlessly about “KillingTheStereotypeThatGermansAreLogical”
He believed that Germans are emotional idiots in choosing their objectives then logical, hard working and methodical in pursuing them.
We made a trip back to Paderborn in Krautland in 1962 with a view to returning there. After a few weeks Dad realized he hated German-ness and Germans. I’ve been there 7 or 8 times for family visits and he was right. They are crazy, and crazy enough to be evil.
My forebears came from Krautland as well. Both sides. I think the stereotypes mentioned either emigrated or died in two world wars, and the remaining breeding stock doesn’t have enough of the DNA left to reconstitute it.

Maybe Ms. Hayes has to give her vagina time to heal. So it may be medical sobriety instead of voluntary sobriety.

My cousin is retired from a transportation authority near Des Moines, IA .. but worked when the agency purchased seven electric buses from France. Never were more than 5 of the 7 operational, and the battery packs performed so poorly in the Iowa winters that five months of the year the buses sat sidelined. Petroleum (petrol or diesel) has powered the world’s motor fleet for at least 13 or 14 decades .. for a reason.
