Thanks to all Readers who helped me out with the estate sale of the late Jim Siegler’s cherished Krag-Jorgensen carbine.

We reached our reserve (actually, a few bucks over which, with your permission, I’ll use for the shipping of said weapon to the lucky winner).
Oh, and speaking of the lucky winner, Reader Michael Y. needs to email me his FFL’s details. Unfortunately today and tomorrow both find me snowed under with busywork, but I’ll take care of the transfer early next week. Congratulations, Mike!
The money has been sent to Irish.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I have the best Readers on the Internet.
Very nice!
I think you may have a couple still left, Kim? Maybe try this approach? I’m trying not to buy more guns, but raffles are fun. And I can rationalize getting some raffle chances better than buying a gun I don’t need.
Just a thought. Turning it in to a game may appeal to some who might be willing to send $20-30 in chances but not buy it outright.
Watch this space…
All but one of the firearms I’ve added in the last 8 years came as raffle wins or drawings at Friends of the NRA events. The only exception was a concealed carry pistol.
That was a beautiful Krag. I still want one in military furniture and configuration but that one… nice.
