About as cold as I’ve ever been… late April, spring just around the corner (they said).

No sun/deep shade in April = cold in Yurp
Berlin in early February during a relatively cold winter (so snow, not drizzle) isn’t a picnic, either. It was for work, but when I first met my German co-workers my initial thought was, “What a bunch of assholes!” But after a week of seeing how fast I picked up the material and was implementing code using it, they were impressed by that and by my work ethic (especially when compared to the Chinese and Indians they’d trained) and became (relatively) quite friendly. I’d have liked to go again in a better time of year with my wife, but since Germany has been thoroughly Merkeled with Muslim immigrants, not so much.
